About the Author
Roger Priddy is the creator of over two hundred best selling books for young children including Wipe Clean ABC, First 100 Words, and Fuzzy Bee.
When he was at school he couldn’t decide between being a patisserie chef or going to art college. On the advice of his father he chose art college and trained as an illustrator before becoming a designer at Usborne Publishing.
Roger’s love for children’s early learning has led him to create some of the most successful children’s non-fiction books, first at Dorling Kindersley (My First Word Book, Incredible Cross Sections and My First Cook Book) before he set up Priddy Books with St. Martins Press in New York where several of his books have sold over a million copies each including My Big Animal Book and Happy Baby Words.
In total he has sold over 65 million books worldwide and his books have been translated into over 30 languages.
He says “It is always rewarding to see a child enjoying and learning something from one of our books, especially the babies when you think it could be the first book they have ever seen.

Roger lives with his wife Zena in London and Cork, Ireland (when it’s not raining, which isn’t very often!) They have four children Sam, Rose, Alannah and Gabriel (and a dog called Wallace) who have given him most of his best ideas for his books. He still loves baking bread and cakes!

I love these books! My girls are 4 and 6, they both found things they could do in this, plus I could see that they can use them for a few more years. I'm thinking these would be FANTASTIC for traveling.

I bought this book for my four year old son and am SO impressed. My son loves it and has started forming letters already. Within a week he can write numbers without help!
He also loves the puzzles and spot the difference games.
I thoroughly recommend this book to help the little ones develop pen skills.

This book was bought for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. I thought it was a bit difficult for her, but within a week she was copying the letters and now with help she can write her name. It doesn't matter if she just wants to draw on the pages as they just wipe clean. She loves it and we have to take it everywhere. The main problem we have is the adults wanting a go at the word search and crossword puzzles. Fantastic a must have!!

Great book...buy spare pen!
Love all Priddy books but was disappointed in quality of the dry wipe pen. Lasted all of about 2 days! Shame.

Hours of entertainment!

Great book. Poor quality pens
my daughter loves this book and has learned her abc and numbers well. Would seriously recommend. However, one pen did not work and the other stopped after just 3 weeks. Read more

Good value - good fun

Another sturdy, wipe-clean book from Roger Priddy. Lots of activities to suit different ages. I love the fact that it can be used over and over again. It even has TWO pens.

pens don't work
The book is ok although my daughter really prefers the gold star ones but more disappointing for me was that both pens seemed dried out and not working. Felt like a waste of money.
