The Gate Lodge is designed to be a combined activity centre for younger children as well as a Wendy House or Fort and sleeping den when they are older. The upper cabin is large enough for three teenagers to sleep in comfort. Beneath the cabin is a play area 1.8m x 1.8m fitted with a table and two bench seats. There is enough room around the table to create a play area, even spread out some sand for small kids. The upper cabin can be accessed by a ladder with 5 x 40mm hardwood rungs, or the climbing wall fitted with professional grips. And not to forget the three metre green wavy slide and a swing arm complete with two swings. To complement the Gate Lodge is a range of accessories including a full-sized Assault Course, Commando Net and Clatterbridge. The walls of the cabin follow a unique design, which allows natural movement of the timber without having to use nails or screws, resulting in no splitting of the wood. It is constructed with pressure-treated planed rectangular timber to minimise splits and cracks. Detailed assembly instructions and all necessary fittings are provided to make construction a straightforward DIY job.
