While I found few areas where I beleive the authors personal bias showed through, this was was one of the best self help books I ever read. It inspired me to want to read everything the authors ever wrote.

This book is the standard for practical meditation and actually matches the way our brains really work. It does not get bogged down in any particular religious belief(s), instead it focuses our minds on our own Divine Nature of the Cosmos of which we are a product. It offers many different methods of focusing on our bodies, minds, beliefs, and helps achieve guidance from our personal higher realms of thought through guided steps of concentration, relaxation, detachment, and attunement.

None better and much easier to read and comprehend. It also offers many do's and don'ts so the meditation is much more effective than single thought and idea meditations like focusing only on our breathing or reciting endless repeated phrases.

This book guides the reader through many types of meditations using Parent/Child, Teacher/Student, and Physician/Patient visualizations for achieving higher consciousness and mental house keeping. It also provides suggestions in using symbols to reach deeper into the psyche resulting in optimum results and a never ending method of cleansing and healing. Best Self Help book ever!!! These techniques helps us heal and nurture ourselves. No belief in a Guru required. We follow our own true individual Divine Self!!!
