Action Replay is a revolutionary cheat system and game-save manager designed specifically to unleash the power of Xbox. Action Replay is preloaded with hundreds of game-busting cheats (called "Powersaves") for all the latest and greatest Xbox games. Now you can reach the final level; access all areas; unlock hidden characters, weapons and vehicles.

To access Action Replay's cheats, simply load a Powersave from your PC onto Action Replay's specially enhanced 8 MB memory card. You do this by inserting the memory card into the supplied docking station, which is connected to your PC's USB port. Now you can move both Powersaves and regular saves to and from your Action Replay memory card using the slick PC software supplied. Drag-and-drop functionality makes this software simple to use, and the docking station means you don't need your Xbox and PC next to each other. In fact you don't even need them in the same room.

Once you've copied your Powersave to the Action Replay memory card you can access it like a standard Xbox game save. Powersaves can even be transferred to your Xbox hard drive if required.

Action Replay can also solve more than your gaming problems. If you're running out of hard-drive space on your Xbox then Action Replay can solve your storage problems too. Another major advantage of Xbox Action Replay is that by storing your Xbox game saves on your PC you are freeing up valuable space on your console's hard drive or standard memory card. When you need to access an archived save, simply transfer it back to your Action Replay memory card.

This is unlike any of the other Action Replay devices that have been such a success on other consoles. What it is a save game manager (much like the X-Port) that allows you to share saved games with each other over the internet. Some saves are hack saves called "power saves" where the data is altered to give you extra money or unlock items in the game, but what it won't do is give you coded cheats to get unlimited health etc.. as you do with other Action Replay devices. Also the saves are limited to the variables in the save data, so if health isn't stored in the save file it cannot be affected by a hacked save for example.

The marketing blurb on the box could lead you to believe that it is similar to the VR2 for PS2 or the Action Replay for Dreamcast but it's anything but. It is also limited to games that work with a memory card or allow saves to be copied to or from the hardrive to a memory card, meaning that not all games will be able to work with it ..

If you are looking for a memory manager then this could be worth getting .. if you are looking for a cheat device then as Datel have stated this isn't one and you'll have to wait until they design one ..

If you want to be able to play saved games that you have downloaded from the codejunkies website, then this is for you. If you want to be able to enter a code for infinite lives/ammo the way Action Replay works on other consoles then this is not for you, and you may well be very disappointed and should keep away from this product.

This is not a cheat system. This is not a game enhancement system
This is nothing more than a saved game swapping program and can do nothing more than unlock all the levels, unlock cheats that are already built into the game and let you skip past that level your stuck. Ignore the ussual slogans on the box, such as "the worlds most powerful cheat system" and "unlock the power of your games". This system can't even give you infinite health, let alone let you drive your warthog at 200 mph. Having just recieved the product today by post i rippid the packaging to shreds and the first thing that hit me was "wheres the xbox disc". It was all downhill from here. I quickly installed the software onto my PC to find out what it could do, as i was hoping the cheats are built into the so called "POWERSAVES", certain saved games programmed to give an increased gaming experience. NOPE. Just a tacky PC saved game trading software. I would have been happier if they gave me at least one of the things it said on the box, like "100's of power save", there is only 63. I tried to see if there are more on the internet but they are all the same. I have sent many complaints to Datel and codejunkies and am awaiting a reply. Final words now. DO NOT BUY THIS. WAIT UNILL BLAZE RELEASES THEIRS.
