I have been using this model for about a couple of years. Like the majority of portable DAB radios it uses considerably more power than similar analogue models; don't expect long from a set of batteries. Power consumption isn't helped by the supplied battery eliminator, which churns out heat whether the radio is turned on or off. Unplugging it causes all the settings, including alarm, to be reset. Some of the settings are rather counter intuitive and cumbersome; setting the sleep timer takes nine button presses, get it wrong and it is all too easy to turn on one of the alarms. I have done this several times and been woken at the alarm default time of midnight! On the plus side the radio has plenty of features: three alams, 10 presers on DAB and another 10 for FM, the above mentioned sleep mode, bright backlit display and a reassuringly robust build.
