5. They Shoot Horses, Don't They? - RACING CARS
6. Arms of Mary - SUTHERLAND BROTHERS & QUIVER
7. Chestnut Mare - THE BYRDS
8. Castles In The Air - DON McCLEAN
9. Blue Guitar - JUSTIN HAYWARD & JOHN LODGE
10. Moonlight Shadow - MIKE OLDFIELD
11. Lay Down - THE STRAWBS
12. How Come - RONNIE LANE & SLIM CHANCE
13. Reason To Believe - ROD STEWART
14. Journey - DUNCAN BROWNE
15. I Don't Mind At All - BOURGEOIS TAGG
16. Pinball - BRIAN PROTHEROE

This is a really good compilation all from the 1970's, but where to start?
Gerry Rafferty's everygreen Baker Street, Al Stewart's trademark Year Of The Cat, Racing Cars' They Shoot Horses Don't They ?, Rod Stewart's take on Reason To Believe, Cat Stevens' Morning Is Broken and Prelude's unacompanied After The Goldrush.
Acoustic rock does'nt get much better !

I had this as a cassette tape (remember them?!) many years ago and loved it. It has been hard to find as a c.d and I am eternally grateful to the Amazon member who listed all the tracks so I knew I was buying the right c.d. There are 20 fabulous tracks including Lady Eleanor by Lindisfarne and more obscure tracks such as Duncan Browne's Journey, Bougeois Tagg's I don't Mind at All and Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle. Some absolutely brilliant tracks from the 1970's which bring back wonderful memories. I love all but one of the songs on this c.d. so 19 out of 20 ain't bad! I would recommend it to anyone who loves Acoustic Guitar and the 1970's including Rod Stuart, Gerry Rafferty, Stealers Wheel and The Strawbs. A brilliant mix of brilliant songs.

Thanks to the reviewer James Keary for the track listing for this CD, something often missing with CDs sold by marketplace sellers on Amazon.

I really wanted Baker Street, Year of the Cat and Streets of London on one CD, this was it not to mention many other songs i like. Excellent CD compilation.
