The irony about this set is that it sounds so much better when there is no visual.
After a few minutes of viewing there is not much left to see throughout the rest of the set, but having copied the soundtrack to my MP3 player there is no distraction away from the songs or the quality of the performance.
Far from detracting in any way from The Pixies overall sound, the acoustic guitars are clear and crisp as Joey Santiago demonstrates his craft to full effect and Kim's simple baselines are almost menacing as she drives the songs on. Love her voice, pity she doesn't do more leads (Where's my Breeders/Amps CDs!).
So overall it looks a bit bland, but sounds great!
