I have had rosacea for over 10 years and felt frustrated that my doctor seemed unable to help. I stumbled across this book and, having read it through, can highly recommend it. What I liked about it was the easy style, tips and real case studies that seemed to give it the 'human touch'. It seemed the author spoke with real authority on the subject. The camouflage advice was good and I'm looking forward to giving it a try - I think I've been convinced it might really help! Can't recommend this enough.

Thank you Mrs Bowser. I have struggled for a long time with both my conditions, receiving many contrasting pieces of advice from friends, family and the medical profession. Finally, yes finally, I have found a book which explains things in a simple yet detailed way and gives practical and reassuring advice. The various case studies are very familiar to me and I have found that both reading the book cover to cover and also dipping in and out has benefitted me greatly.

This book was really helpful to me as a teenage boy who is undergoing one of the acne treatments in this book. It gave me some really good advice and answered questions which I found too embarrassing to ask. I found other areas of the book interesting, even though those particular infections didn't affect me. It also contains helpful tips about treating my skin on a day-to-day basis which my GP didn't tell me so I highly recommend this book.
