Fantastic Motivator/Kindle Format is Excellent, 19 Feb 2012
This has been a fab book for my Kindle, a way of carrying good vibes with me wherever I go. Because the book is designed to be read each day, I could take the information and incorporate it into my life at a manageable pace. Yes, I did cheat and look ahead as well--but that's the beauty of the book--it's not your typical self-help book that has lots of ideas but very little focus. You can dip in and actually put some of the practices in place. Although I am often sceptical about self-improvement books, I am so glad that I took a leap of faith with this one. I found this book to be extremely helpful. Highly recommended to all of us achievers out there.

No babble - just easy understandable reading - it works, 13 Jun 2010
This review is from: Achieve Anything In Just One Year: Be Inspired Daily to Live Your Dreams and Accomplish Your Goals (Paperback)
I loved this book.
Not a book full of 'psycho babble', but one that is easy to follow and understand. Yes, you don't need a drawerful of degrees or certificates to understand this, just be yourself and allow yourself the time to read through it. Not as long winded as you may think. Just try to read a page each night then reflect on what you have read, and it will make sense.
Yes, it is a self help book,(well self improvement book), but not a demeaning one, it doesn't make you feel as though you are in the 'wrong' or what you are doing normally is 'wrong'. It helps you to step back and look at things a little differently, then look again at what you are doing, not just in the terms of life changing events but everyday activities. Something that most of us don't do, as we normally say we neither have the time to do so, or what difference will it make?
How many times do you start off reading a self help book of some sort only to 'give up' half way through as you feel it either daunting or of little meaning/likeness to yourself? I know I have in the past, but this book is different.
Sometimes we can all plod on through life thinking 'if only I could change x, y or z' maybe life may be better. How many times have you bargained with yourself and told yourself that 'if you eat that big cream cake today, well next week you will diet?' We all have, maybe not the cream cake but something. This book makes you realise that we are all different and that we all work through things differently, but eventually get there in the end, with this book it just makes things seem clearer. It certainly did for myself, after two recent bereavements and left thinking 'what now?' this book came just at the right time. I was then in a situation of thinking I need to do something positive, but how do I deal with all the big things if I am having problems with dealing with the little things, this book almost became my saviour (daft though it sounds) it made my look at things from a different angle and take things one step at a time, and to see that even the tiny things (like getting ready and going out on time) were a big achievement. Once that was done I could then see the bigger picture and see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Well the activities in this book, help you look at things in a clearer way. You work your way through them and do the various things it suggests you to do, by finding out about yourself really (understanding how you work etc).
There are 365 chapters, (well 365 pages of things to look at and read). I know it does sound a little daunting at first, but the writing is so well versed (easily readable), that well it just makes common sense when you read it, and no, you don't need lost of time to read it all in one go. Read maybe a chapter (a page) at a time or maybe a couple.
By making a little time to read this book, you will change how you look at things in everyday events, and hopefully by doing that have a better attitude/outlook on things.
I must admit that the cover of the book does look like a puzzle book, but then again life can be a big puzzle, and this book tries to find a way out of it for you if you let it.

Just what I needed, 20 Feb 2012
I received this as a gift from a friend, and it has totally changed my outlook on life. Lacking structure in my life, as well as self-discipline and confidence, I was my own worst enemy. Using this great book as a blueprint to success, I have been able to not only set realistic goals for myself, but to achieve these goals as well. I highly recommend this to anyone on a journey of self-discovery. You truly can unlock the power within you to make your dreams come true. 5 stars.
