Style Name:750GB HDD
Bought this laptop as a replacement for a Macbookpro, which I have disliked for day 1. Unboxing the Acer was filled with excitment as I had done loads of research on other i7 laptops, and this one fitted the bill for me.
Once unboxed, there it was all shiney and new, feels very light and very portable, setup was the standard windows proceeedure. Took about one hour. Plenty of software loaded, which was uninstalled as I didnt really need it, but with 750G of HDD I could have left it.
The screen was bright and vibrant, the screen casing was very well tensioned with the body and opening the lid was easy.
There is a nice keyboard lay out, and the tracker pad being slightly offset from the centre to the left, took about 10 mins to get used to the tracker pad keys.
I really like Acer laptops for their design and value for money, this is the 2nd acer i have owned and really enjoy being behing the keys.
The speed of the laptop will rival my Macbook pro, actually I beleive it to be 7 seconds faster on boot up than the mac.
Keys felt nice to touch and push down.
Unfortunately, I had a screen with a couple of dead pixels on, which has now been resolved with amazon, and a direct replacement is being sent out, but dont let this deter you if you are thinking of getting this laptop, i highly recommed it.

Greta power in one of these machine, couldnt kill it if you tried in terms of driving software,
the 3.0 usb port is great just a pity all 3 weren't 3.0.
Battery life its good
screen resolution max seems to be 1366 x 768 would have liked higher however blu rays still look fantastic
Delivery as usual prompt and all ready to run out of the box
one thing you have to do is create master restore disks, you'll need 3 disks (in case of ultimate failure and reboot required)
apart from that i am well pleased

Style Name:750GB HDD
ordered on a Wednesday. Arrived on a Thursday. Brought back home to Portugal on Friday. All set up and running by Fri pm. Great service from Amazon (as always). Blisteringly fast laptop - great for multitasking, image manipulation etc etc. Very happy with it and a great balance of price and functions. HIghly recommend after three months' use now.

first one was faulty but replacement one is very good. very fast at opening and closing items and generally efficient. large memory so should last.

No Bluetooth
How can such a wonderful laptop be without a Bluetooth?! Of course, you can buy an USB dongle, but it is still a shame.
