I am using with Ubuntu 11.4 and the touchscreen works out of the box. Multi-touch is only sporadically supported by linux apps so far but also seems to work with no problems, not sure I have gotten the most out of gesture recognition with touchegg yet but there we are. The stand is very well designed allowing the much more logical drawing board positioning of the screen for touch input and it's sprung in such a way you can adjust it easily as you go. Unusually it came with all the cables you need, one for every connection except the hdmi, which is really nice change as I was half expecting to have to go looking for extra dvi and usb cables.
Picture quality seems good to me and the extra screen area over my old 17 inch screen is great to have. The only slight grip so far is that the monitor controls (with the exception of the power) are under the front edge which is a bit awkward to access. The power control is in a nice position at the bottom of the right side of the frame.

Great product picture is great and touch screen is very accurate. The only problem is the sound gets distorted at about 70% or when high pitched sounds are played. All in all very happy with it though.

From opening the box it was up and running perfectly within half an hour. Needed to update the software but apart from that everything did itself, except from pluging in the leads supplied, (pity it didn't include the HDMI). Retained my 'old' 22" monitor as a second screen, which serves to highlight the clarity of the Acer.
