After my old desktop monitor died, I looked around for another, cheap-ish, monitor to replace it.
After hunting around, this Acer seemed to stand out from the crowd and I have not been disappointed.
The screen is a matt finish (so no reflections) and it is easy to tune the display to your own preferences. The screen can also be physically tilted, to achieve optimum viewing angle.
The pack includes a VGA lead and two main leads (one with a UK plug and one with a European plug), plus some software (which I haven't bothered to load, after all a monitor is a monitor).
My home office is in my conservatory and, even with the sun shining down (unusual for November, but true!) the screen remains very readable.
Overall, great value and excellent video for home use.

Cannot fault this ...excellent screen and great picture quality ...extremely thin as well ..very quick to setup and looks great as well.

As probably the most common failing in monitors is power supply failure, provision of an external power supply with this item is a good idea as replacement would be less expensive than a monitor repair, with carriage charges, for internal power supply failure.
Overall, it worked well "out of the box"
