This projector is absolutely fantastic. It's so small! Less than the size of a 6" ruler, square, and about half the height; it's hard to believe when you see it online. The picture makes it look like it's the same size as any other projector. The image that this little beast puts out is crisp and clear at 800x600. Great for business presentations, playing games from the Wii, or PC, or showing off home photos/videos. My negative point is that if you're in a sunlit room, the image is a little difficult to see. This is powered by LEDs (which gives it a 20,000 hour lamp life, over 10x that of a normal projector) and the result is it's not as bright as a 'typical' projector. That said, close the curtains, (or dim the lights if you're in a meeting), and it's more than adequate.

Most excellent projector. In constant use in medical surgeries and clinics for small group presentations on Parkinson's Disease subjects. Simple to use, light to carry, good display. Well recommended and will be purchasing a second unit for home use shortly. Alan W

The spec looks fine for the price - resolution and contrast wise, etc, and it's certainly small and light - and if all goes well you'll make savings in excess of the purchase price on bulbs and electricity vs more conventional projectors; however!

1/ 100 lumens is quite dim. It's less than a third of the subjective brightness of a comparitive halogen lamp model (1500-2500 lumen). You'll definitely have to use this in a darkened room, and even then it might not seem particularly bright until your eyes adapt quite a lot.

2/ If the lightsource blows out, that's it. Normal bulbs are explicitly consumable items and typically come in quick-swap carriers that need less than a minute to change. Here, it's sealed-for-life. If/when it goes (and it might be long before the stated time, as this is still a bit experimental), it's either professional repair time or buying a whole new projector, which could nullify any saving and leave you without picture for quite a while.
(Still, if it does run for even half the stated time, it's still worth it!)

The question that can't be answered until someone actually buys and reviews one properly is what the picture quality is like besides the brightness...

5.0 out of 5 stars Small but effective 20 Nov 2010

The K10 projector certainly raises a few eye brows amongst my course delegates. However for such a small appliance it is very effective. Start up and shut down are very quick, which reduces setting up and pack up time. Copes well with powerpoint presentations and films. Portability is excellent whereas my old projector had its own boot space this one sits nicely in my briefcase. Compared to other projectors the K10 seems very good value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Projector 1 May 2014

So compact and lightweight, great quality and does the job perfectly. I give presentations to groups of 20-60 in village halls etc. Having been promised a screen at my first outing with my new projector, they couldn't find it so I projected onto a cream-painted wall in a village hall. It wasn't fully dark outside and they didn't shut the curtains at the other end of the hall, but everyone could see perfectly. Great for photographs, including close-ups of patchwork and quilting stitches. There's no Hdmi connection so I had to use an older laptop with VGA cable. I was investing a lot in this and am so pleased I chose this one. It comes in a useful zip-up case with lots of protection when not in use.
