I'm extremely happy with my purchase. Obviously, I can only comment on my own experience but I get no buzzing whatsoever. I'm running on 120 HZ all the time. This gives a supremely crisp picture quality and great colour rendering. The widescreen full HD is jaw droppingly good. I did a lot of research into 3D monitors and you're unlikely to find any other option for the same low cost. Awesome!

So far this is a great monitor, i have not tried it in 3D yet as im waiting for my PC still to arrive. The response time in 2D gaming is really good. It was a fast delivery and come well packed.

I have had this monitor for a few days now and I can't believe it was allowed to be released ! I am sending it back. If you look on the internet for 'Acer GD245HQ Buzzing' you will find hundreds of other people who wish they hadn't bought this LCD. The sharpness makes text have a halo around it, you can't turn this off ! There is a feature called 'Over Drive' which causes weird colours on films/games at 60hz, you can't turn this off either ! (Unless you go into the system menu). But the real killer is the dreaded BUZZING, at 120hz it is audible over your 3D film/game. Unless you plan on having headphones on when you use this monitor in 120hz mode then stay away, there are MUCH better 3D monitors available.
The cross talk in 3D is more prevalent than my Samsung 2233rz but has less ghosting at the top and bottom (if you have used a first generation 3D monitor you will know what I mean).
I have gone back to my Samsung 2233rz, it is not 1080p or 16:9 but at least it doesn't sound like a fridge engine! Avoid.
The issues I have listed above are common knowledge with other users everywhere now, do yourself a favour and read all about how truly awful this monitor is before you spend your hard earned money. I also phoned Acers call centre in Ireland and was told that the monitor was fine, other users have had the same treatment, some have sent theirs back because of the buzzing noise and have either had it sent back with the buzzing still there or are still waiting up to 3 weeks later to even get a response.
I have never written such a scathing review before but I feel I must, even if you are the only person who takes my advice I will feel like I did my part.
Pros: It has HDMI, DVI and Analog ports.
Cons: Just about everything else is broken - it is almost like they sent it out with an April Fools firmware ! It is just plain broken. Words fail me.

Best 'bang per buck'
Best value 3D monitor at moment given the quality, great colour tones,very sharp, no lag or blurr. Also great 2D monitor. For 3D you need Nvidia 3D glasses (available on Amazon). Read more
