Have had this monitor for around 8-9 months now. I paid £174.00 for it. I have no complaints about my monitor whatsoever. The picture is great, response time seems fine for gaming (have played counterstrike, JK2 & AOE3 on it) colours are well saturated and seem accurate, brightness is not much of an issue although some claim it is. I have mine set to 45/100 most of the time, though sometimes turn it down lower at night. The physical quality of the product is good, with a tidy little button area, the power button is a bit plasticy but have had no problems with it. My only issues with monitor are (a) no DVI input and (b) no height adjustment. At the time I bought the screen, i also purchased this Kensington flatpanel arm-mount: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006SIV52/ref=pd_ys_iyr7/026-4719814-5193224 which i have found is brilliant, especially for the price. It saves masses of space, and gives good height adjustment.
So, I'd recommend buying this monitor, but also considering (1) do you need DVI? Planning to run dual-screen sometime? Upgrading your PC sometime to a grafix card with only DVI outputs? (2) How low is your desk? How high is your chair? How tall are you? The built in stand only raises the monitor around 12cm off the desk.
Overall though, for the value, 5 stars!!
