This is my first TFT monitor after my old CRT finally gave up the ghost. And I have to say it was a geeat choice.
Excellent picture quality that can handle the most detailed of graphics. Plug and play which is always a great addition to any peripheral nowadays.
The price was great and you have the added peace of mind of a great brand at such a low price.
Has the great addition of an Auto adjust function which changes the display depending on what you are doing, ie. gaming, films, surfing or working.
Highly recommended

Unwrapped it, plugged it in, switched it on and it worked. And with Linux too (Ubuntu 9.10). Also works fine with Windows XP.

I have a dual set-up for my pc, and was looking for a new widescreen monitor to replace my older 19 inch cft monitor. While this is great if on a budget there are a few things you should know:
1. If your running a game or are using this monitor for a xbox 360, DO NOT press the "Auto Config" button while in a game. This can cause the screen to go out of sync with the game, and you may have some trouble getting the picture to move back to where it should be.
If this happens try exiting the game and press the "Auto Config" button, if you are running on the 360, you may have to reset the monitor through the menu, or connect it to a pc and then press the "Auto Config" button.
2. Some reviews I read before purchasing this said that the monitor has no viewing angle adjustments. It actually has 15 degrees of movement allowing you to tilt the monitor.
All in all, an excellent monitor if on a budget.

Acer 19" wide LCD TFT monitor
The monitor is just fine. No problems at all. I have hardly used it as we have had problems getting someone to connect it to another computer. Read more

Good priced product
Bought to replace my parent's Dell monitor that had gone haywire. Very good value for money. Installing drivers and defining settings not for the feint hearted though.
