Product title wrong -- LCD Monitor *NOT* LED Monitor 1 Jan 2011

I had bought this thinking it was an LED display, but it clearly states in Amazon's specs that this is LCD so I should have paid more attention.

Stand lacks adjustable height. Otherwise, it's a nice, compact 17" display screen with a high contrast ratio.

These units are just the job. Good clear graphics and a wide range of adjustments. We have them wall mounted so we don't need to worry about height adjustment, which the supplied stand doesn't have.

Screen contrast and adjustment. 15 Feb 2012

I bought one of these in November 2011 and since then have been trying to adjust the contrast on the screen so that tiny pale coloured lettering on a white background (used a lot by graphic designers and web designers!!) is easier to read. No success so far and unable to obtain any free support on line. In fact Acer is hard to contact in anyway! I only changed to LED because they are supposed to be easier on the eyes but am wishing I had stuck with my old CRT monitor!
