Coffee Table Book 14 Mar 2006
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This is one of those pretty, high quality paper, full of photographs type books that you stick on your coffee table and enjoy having a flick though every now and then. I wouldn't describle it as an "advanced poker guide" - it has some interest in that you get a sense of Barry's philosophy on poker life and the things that surround it, but is disappointing if you expect some deep insights into advanced play, or any great depth on how Barry approaches the game.

A Life In Poker 16 Nov 2006
By James T
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book is really about the life of a poker player. Don't expect to be enlightened by this book with amazing poker tactics. Barry Greinstein is quite an extrordinary guy . He does a lot for charity work and is an excellent cash games poker player. If you are looking to improve your game you are better off buying Dan Harrington's books "Harrington on Holdem 1,2 and 3". But as am insight into the life of a poker player and a lot of good quality photographs you can't get much better than this book.

Thank you Barry 22 Dec 2011
Format:Paperback
Barry Greenstein, one of the biggest poker legends wrote this amazing poker guide for regular players who would like to become professionals. If you wanna buy a book just to improve your texas holdem skills this is not the book you are looking for. If you want to improve your whole mentality, understanding and approach to poker, then this is THE book to buy.
Thank you Barry
