The year is 1856;Transylville is a remote market village situated in eastern Transylvania. The inhabitants range from mainly agricultural labourers to landed aristocracy, but they share their village with several strange characters of a seemingly more sinister nature.The local murder rate is far higher than should be expected, but the lack of evidence at each new crime scene usually leaves the population bewildered, if not suspicious of their strange co-habitants, that is, you and your fellow guests. Tonight you have been invited to celebrate the 20th wedding anniversary of your friends: Gomez and Morticia von Adums.
However, the evening has been overshadowed by the death of the local beauty queen, Virginia Vestalata, who was pushed to her death from the village church bell-tower, only two days ago. The local community is outraged and, as always, the finger is pointed at the 'usual suspects', most of those gathered here this evening. You, amongst others, are a prime suspect!

We played this game and loved it! We have played lots of murder mystery games and this was easily the best. Highly recomended!

Every year I hold a Halloween party for friends and family and I bought Transylville Terror as a change from the normal drinks and games.
The night was a true success. From the colourful invites, to the well written scripts and CD. This game will ensure that you have a fantastic night of mystery and most importantly lot of fun! I would (and have) recommended this game to my friends and will defiantly be buying other murder mystery games from 'Ace Murder Mystery' in the future. If you love Halloween and you love murder mystery, this is the game for you!

I bought this game for Halloween and was not disappointed.
We had some brilliant costumes to go with the characters form the game. My friends and I have done quite a few murder mystery's now and we all felt that this was one of the best. The plot was engaging and the characters interesting. We were all impressed by the quality of the literature provided with the game, most murder mystery's provide an invite photocopied onto a coloured piece of paper, where as this game had full colour invites printed onto durable card. We felt that it looked like a lot of time and effort had gone in to producing this game and look forward to playing another Ace murder mystery!
