I'm going to have to go against the views of all of the other reviews I'm afraid for a number of reasons.
First, this, and other Accurist watches are highly discounted. Indeed the use of a near fictional RRP is fairly common amongst the lower end watch manufacturers. I got a deal on the watch in a post Christmas sale but it was no where near as large a discount as first appeared.
Second, I find the liquid crystal screens to be poor. The lower two are simply too small to read to the point of being useless. The larger screen is far easier to see but the display is pixelated so low resolution and quality. This seems to be particularly the case for the upper part of the screen displaying, for example, the city.
Third, overall I find the use of a lot of text on a standard to large watch face makes it difficult to read. I found selecting, before memorising, options on the lower `mode' dial particularly irritating.
Overall I thought the watch looked better on the Amazon site than in the hand - or on the wrist. In particular the gold coloured outer moveable ring adds depth to the watch and looks tacky. Using the LCD screens in a better way would have avoided the need for additional dials which crowd the watch face. Why a dial for UTC when the LCD could show it as an option, why a separate option dial, and why a 24 hour dial. I primarily wanted a multi-time zone watch. This has too many ill designed additions and will be heading back to Amazon. I'll stick with the cleaner design of Alessi chrome watches and my Tag Heuer for more complex but cleanly executed functions.
So very disappointing.
