I have had these for quite some time thanks to a promo and a lovely young lady called Tracy, who gave these to me. These really are a doddle to use and just taking the one measurement from your waist area is more than adequate for your average person. Lets face it you want to know that your body fat percentage has gone down, you are not required to know the most exact measurement, if you did then you would pay a fortune to have it done at a lab.
In our household we have a really nice looking pair of bathroom scales, they are digital and nicely flash your weight etc at you when you get on them. The only problem is that I have never had them work for me, if I am to get on them ten times in a row, then I will get ten completely different readings. With these calipers I just take a measurement and look it up on the easy to use chart and I can see if I have got slimmer or not.
With ease of use and great reliability you can always have handy your body fat percentage. These are not just handy for the home user, but also for personal trainers, you can show your client that they are indeed carrying less bodyfat. For those who want to diet these are a great incentive as they can easily show results. For bodybuilders these are great because with these and a tape measure you can see how much fat you are carrying, and then you can use a tape to see how big those muscles are.
Scales will only show your weight, but these much more importantly show your bodyfat percentage, which is a reliable way to see whether you are likely to get obesity related illnesses, or not.
