I bought this clock as a replacement for my mechanical Hermle moonphase mantel clock which needs repairing, and for a clock costing a tenth of the price it's not bad at all, in fact I'm quite taken with it.
The Weybridge has a well finished dark oak coloured cabinet with a brass/antique gold coloured face with embossed numerals and black scrolling. The face is recessed behind what I think is a glass panel, and there is a hemispherical moonphase motif above the clock face. In case you were wondering, this is not a functional moonphase movement, but it's an attractive looking motif nonetheless. You cannot access the clock face from behind the clear panel, but as the clock sets itself or can be manually adjusted from behind this shouldn't be a problem.
A couple of reviewers have said that they found it difficult to see the time from a distance, and I would agree that whilst it's not the clearest face in the world I have mine in an averagely lit room and can read it from across the room quite easily.
The clock has an electronic Westminster chime which chimes and strikes at the top of the hour. It doesn't chime on the quarter and half hours, but to be honest I'd found the quarter hourly chime on the Hermle to be too much and had turned it off anyway. Whilst the electronic chime can't approach the resonance of a mechanical chime, the chime on the Weybridge is pleasant on the ear, and not bad at all. I've certainly heard a lot worse*.
There's also a volume control so you can turn it up or down, and an automatic night shut off function which silences the chimes from 22:00 until 05:00. Unfortunately this can't be overridden, which is a great shame because there's something about a clock striking midnight that really appeals to me. Maybe I read too many ghost stories.
The clock set itself up within five minutes of inserting the batteries(1x AA for the clock,2x AA for the chimes) and has kept perfect time ever since.
In summary, a very attractive clock with a pleasant chime and radio controlled accuracy. I really like it. Excellent value.

p.s. At midnight the two greyhounds either side of the clock get up and do a couple of laps around the desktop.
