A great bed side clock with Extra large LED digits. The great thing about this LED alarm clock is that it has a dimmer switch for night time use unlike others that are so bright at night that they disturb you when you sleep!

This clock works well. It has a devilish alarm tone that will wake the dead. It doesn't stop ringing until you switch it off. The display is not very bright - so in the daytime, it really doesn't show the time too well but at night it's slightly easier to read. The numbers are huge - so that's not the problem - it's just that they are pretty dim and there's no way to brighten them. The image (in the description) is obviously doctored to show good contrast but in reality there's very little contrast.

The whole rectangular face of the clock measures approx 7 x 4 inches.

It has a 9 volt battery backup, so it retains the time and settings when unplugged from the mains.

I like the clock but I wish the display was a little brighter.

Mains-operated so won't die on you overnight like my battery-operated clock did. This clock has a battery back-up so you're reassuringly protected from the overnight power-cut that would otherwise be a problem. I'm very happy with the product though would, like other reviewers, prefer a bigger difference in the hi-lo display brightness settings and the alarm strengths. That said, you do get very good value for your money.

Cant really fault this, it does its job well, good value for the money.
The glow on a night is quite bright on its lowest dim, but that doesnt bother me at all.
The battery backup is useful, because im sick of resetting the clock after the mains power has been off.
The alarm on its lowest setting is quite sufficient to wake you up, where as the highest setting could wake the dead!!!
The snooze button is in a sensible place, and you cant turn the alarm off completely by mistake, so the alarm keeps repeating after the snooze has been pressed, so you eventually get up without sleeping in.
The display is big and bright,easy to see when you are half asleep, a great clock overall.
I would have liked the time to be radio controlled for it to be perfect.
