Smartlite® display lights up all night it’s a new patented technology that automatically illuminates the dial when the room darkens for easy night-time viewing. The Smartlite® sensor turns the light off during the day to prolong battery life. The Radio Controlled mechanism fitted to your clock has a built in receiver, which is tuned to the National Physical Laboratory MSF Transmitter based in Anthorn, Cumbria. The time signal received is controlled by a cesium clock, is accurate to within one second every 1000 years, allows fully automatic set up of your clock and will automatically adjust for summer/winter time changes. With a history dating back to 1929, our specialist manufacturing knowledge and expertise has helped us to become the leading brand in the UK clock market. This clock was bought for my husband as he couldn't read the figures in his previous bedside clock. He is 100 per cent pleased with it. It is very readable and lights up as soon as the room becomes dark but does not emit a glow. It changed time automatically in October and it is easy for me, the wife, to view the time as well. An excellent purchase

I am very pleased with my Acctim Acura Smartlite Radio Controlled Alarm Clock. It has all the features that I wanted and was as advertised.
Good value for money and accurate to the second. The soft light during the night is adequate to read the time but just needs a touch of a button to add more illumination for a couple of seconds if needed.
Ordering was straightforward and delivery was prompt.

Bought my wife one of these alarm clocks for Christmas and liked it so much have bought myself one too. Great for seeing the time in the dark and display that can read easily without having to put glasses on.
