I wanted a bog standard alarm clock without a radio or anything else and this fitted the bill. It does the job its designed to do and I like the very large clear screen as when you first wake up and are not exactly with it, it is clear and bold and you know exactly what time it is. The light is quite bright and on all the while but I haven't found that an issue, I just turn over with my back to it when I want to go to sleep!

I have now had this clock for a few months and on balance have regrets about buying it.
The backlight feature and the temperature display attracted me to the clock but the backlight is an energy hog and quickly discharges the batteries. Unfortunately, as there is nosecondary battery as back-up, all the settings have to be re-set from scratch. I have now turned off the backlight feature and can no longer see the L.E.D number display at night and so negates one of the main reason why I bought the clock.
Generally, the build quality is not very good but it does tell the time, dates and temperature well.
