I bought this for my rather deaf dad. It's bigger than I expected, but looks good. Easy to use. There are 2 settings for the alarm; loud and louder! My dad said there was no way he could stay in bed with the loud setting. He was too worried about trying the loudest setting in case he woke the neighbours up. Overall a good buy for the price. After having tried several alarm clocks and having slept through them all, he is very pleased with this one.

I bought this old fashioned style clock for my elderly mother as she never quite got to grips with digital clocks. She appears very pleased with it, easy to use and two alam settings, ( loud and very loud). Yes, I would recommend this!

This is the second ACCTIM THUNDERBELL ALARM CLOCK I have bought. (The first one was through another internet supplier.)
Both clocks proved useless and had to be returned/refunded. The first one stopped periodically - it would be about 45 minutes behind time by the morning. The second one's alarm went off on time - but nothing short of removing the batteries would stop the alarm sounding! The button on the top and the OFF switch didn't respond.
The design is promising - but in my own experience, this clock has proved a shoddy piece of workmanship.
Whoever is in charge of quality-control at the place where they make these needs a wake-up call!
