5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 18 Feb 2004
I needed a quick brush up on the main accounting points after a long layoff from financial accounts. This book was excellent, and covered the key points in a precise but helpful way. I now feel fully refreshed on the key principles. A good purchase for anyone just starting (or returning) to accountancy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Suddenly It All makes Sense, 17 Oct 2003
By Andrew (London, UK) - See all my reviews
I have learnt more about accounting and financial analysis from reading this book in the last week than I learnt in 5 years of running my own business. I wish I had come across Accounts Demystified years ago, as I would have saved hours of worry thousands of £'s. This book does exactly what the title promises, previously complex accounting concepts now make sense and I can understand fully the consequences of decisions I have made in the past and will make in the future. This book is ideal for entrepreneurs and business managers who need to punch their weight financially even if they don't actually compile the numbers. After you have read Accounts Demystified you'll be able to evaluate your own business and investment decisions with confidence. When I picked Accounts Demystified up for the first time it looked like an absolute Godsend. Having read it I know that it is a Godsend. Buy it!
