It's excellent.
I took an MBA in 1973 and this programmed text was given out to the non-accountants before the start of the course for us to go through before we started the MBA.
It starts from the most basic principles, gradually adding the few other basic accounting principles as it goes along, and constantly reinforcing what has been covered before. An excellent programmed text.
But make sure, as you go through the programmed text, that you don't uncover the answers before you're sure you know the answer to each question - otherwise you won't get the basics in and you won't get on top of the subject. If you're not sure of the answer then go back to through the previous pages until you are sure. I uncovered the answers.... When starting the MBA and I found that they assumed (reasonably of course) that we all had done it as they had asked and that we'd taken it all in. I had to completely re-do it.
