1.0 out of 5 stars Accounting for Dummies, 30 May 2010
By
Sophie C. Lambell "devonshirehippy" (Devon, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The Book was an American version, how utterly ridiculous, this is a book about accounting, obviously you need all the figures that relate to your own country's tax system. There was no indication of this fact, posted from the UK, from a UK seller, what an utter waste of my time and money! I will never buy anything like this through amazon again as clearly you cannot trust them to list something clearly.

3.0 out of 5 stars Adequate as a non-accountants' everyday reference, 4 Feb 1999
By A Customer
The content is simple with material presented in the usual 'dummie' tradition. It works great as a quick way to understand hard concepts, without going into too much distracting detail. A good reference for people who interface with accountants or accounting departments, but accounting students will find that the material is not detailed enough for cases covered in a typical accounting course. Is it the 'feel good accounting book of the year?' I dunno...but like any other dummies book, buy it for the funny cartoons.

4.0 out of 5 stars accounting, 29 Oct 2011
This review is from: Accounting for Dummies (Audio CD)
this is an american accounting CD, but is specific to the uk... good but discription should have stated the country for why it was for..... as a basic review would recommend.
