This game is really cool . Me , being a big fan of ECW , rushed out and bought this game and haven't stopped playing on it (until ECW : Anarchy Rulz came out) . This game is very good and very easy to play mainly because it uses the same engine as WWF Attitude and WWF Warzone (the engine's kinda funky after a while) . The only bad things are the graphics and the entrance theme's (which sounded as if they were made by a dying cat) . The charachters are all there (Rob Van Dam , Tommy Dreamer , Tajiri , Balls Mahoney and of course Axl Rotten) .

It features Barbed Wire matches , Death matches , Last Man Standing matches and Cage matches.

It also features commentery from ECW'S Joey Styles and crowd chants .

The language is very explicit (every word except for the "F" word is in there) and the violence is very bloody and there is lots of gore . It should only be played by Mature audiance's .

I was just a plain old WWE fan until I saw ECW one night stand on Sky Sports 1. I knew that some of the best WWE superstars came from ECW but after I saw one night stand I went out and bought ECW hardcore revolution and its great. It plays like the old WWF games from acclaim (which is a good thing) and it has the cool (blood bath of a match) barbed wire rope match plus all the basic other matches such as the cage match and i think this is one of the best games i have bought in ages. By the way if any of you play online WWE games beware of me pesterlence.

ECW may have been the best American fed ever by a long way but this game is by no means the best. The WCW/WWF games in the THQ series are miles better (you can create plenty of ECW guys on WM2K/No Mercy anyway) Same engine as the WWF Attitude/Warzone games only with better moves and swearing-still not impressive, and THQ's award-winning control system is much easier and user-friendly. This is like playing Streetfighter in a ring, with numerous bad faults (such as the confusing direction system in tag team matches) - WWF may be awful but get their games - much better

Another wrestling game which realy isnt the best. the WWF titles are much better and at least there are chracters that youve heard of.do not by.
