Product Description

"The first person I ever killed was my best friend..."

Tom White lives in Brighton with a crappy job and no prospects to speak of and a next-door-neighbour who has started throwing parties at all hours. Tom doesn't like confrontation so rather than challenge the neighbour he takes a different route entirely. He commits murder.

But Tom's no criminal mastermind and this dark act hurls him into an underworld in which he learns that he is rather good at his new found talent but totally out of his depth with his new associates; two scary gangsters who could have walked straight off the set of a Guy Ritchie film, and the mysterious and impossibly sexy Stephanie, who is hiding more than her drop-dead smile reveals.

Flying by the seat of his pants, Tom muddles his way through his new career, balancing the needs of his underworld bosses, his unknowing girlfriend and his knowing-too-much best friend who shares Tom’s macabre moral compass.

Accidental Hitman is as heavy on humour as it is on thrills. Generous doses of laugh out loud comedy usher in the storyline which takes on a life – or perhaps death - of its own. As the corpses start to mount and two rival police forces aim to spoil Tom’s game of murder by numbers, it all gets a bit more serious.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly entertaining 24 July 2012

Great plot, funny and well paced. The characters really came to life and once I'd started it, I couldn't wait to find out what happened at the end (and I wasn't disappointed). There were some great laugh out loud moments too. All in all, a great book. It was recommended to me by a friend, and in turn I've recommended it to a few people - a must read!

I highly recommend this book. It will grab you from the start and the plot and characters develop nicely making you want to read more. I finished the book in just three sittings, always a good sign when you can't put a book down. Read this, and pass it on, you'll be glad you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, couldn't put it down! 16 Oct 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I'm not usually one for comic thrillers, but this was recommended to me by a friend. I was hooked from the start and couldn't put it down. It's laugh out loud funny with a great plot that keeps you guessing right to the end. Can't believe you can be this entertained for the price of a coffee.

I'll never hear the words "bingo marker pen" again without thinking of this book. Ha! More please Mr Wilson!

I really did find it hard to put down. And it kept me up late at nights too! Well worth a read and paying for it. It was humorous, insightful and exciting. I liked the author's style and ability to switch between the well developed characters writing in the first person which supplied many comical moments. A great read. Thanks

5.0 out of 5 stars Laugh out loud, Dark and simply brilliant 5 Jun 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I have never felt the need to write a review but this book just cries out to be read and recognized for what it is. Quite simply BRILLIANT.

Gripping, Funny, with an edge to it that makes you feel both engaged and horrified at times.

Some people may be offended but the narrative is always in keeping with the characters and the plot.

BUY THIS BOOK YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

4.0 out of 5 stars Black humour at its best!
Laugh out loud in parts, plot becomes a little obvious before it lets you in on it itself. As its written in the view of varying characters, it keeps the storyline rolling along. Read more
