"It s a terrific, beautifully packaged collection and tremendous (if violent) fun." --Down The Tubes

Format: Hardcover
Lovely hardcover reprint of this classic from short-lived 2000ad competitor Toxic. Pat Mills tailors his stories to the various skills of his artists. Perfect for fans of 2000ad, the adventures of a shallow hitman who see every kill in terms of a new sports car. The art often has a brashness that fits the story to a tee. Great for fans of MARSHAL LAW or NEMESIS THE WARLOCK.

As good as I remember? No!, better!, Pat Mills satire is as biting as it is hilarious, Mike Fallon is a plausable and witty anti hero in the fine British tradition of such. Highly recommended.

The quality of this collection is no accident . . . 10 Dec 2014

Pat Mills is always a joy to read and this Accident Man collection is not exception. I've been a HUGE fan since finding Toxic and Apocalypse magazine imports in the early 90's and was immediately drawn to Duke Mighten and the late Martin Emond. Just as I was starting to wonder if AM had ever been collected Titan comics comes to the rescue!

All of AM's apopearances to date are collected in this slick hardcover. This is comprised of all his color Toxic and Apocalypse appearances and a black and white mini series published by Dark Horse comics. These tales of high price hitman whose motif is to make his hits look like accidents still entertain. The nitpicker in me wishes the colored line-art pages were remastered or that the black and white issues were colored and there was more supplemental sketchboiok/ behind the scenes art, but that's the insatiable fanboy in me. All the pages look as good as they did the first time I read them. A bonus is the inclusion of several chapters I never saw published or imported to America by John Erasmus.

Another laugh out loud spoof on the spy, James Bond genre. I read it three times and thoroughly enjoyed it!
