Both Dolan & Holt have yet again brought an essential textbook supporting nurses working in Accident & Emergency / Emergency Care units to the market. The book with new chapters whom I and other colleagues were invited to contribute to, refreshes previous editions. This new volume expands on the whole holistic journey in the care of people in emergency situations as well as including transportation of acutely ill people which I was delighted to write.

As a former ED nurse, I would find this valuable and know colleagues in practice will utilise and find this an essential textbook in today emergency care units, while aimed at nurses, this textbook will be of value resource to nursing students, doctors in training and & therapy staff working in the emergency care setting.
