Product Description

While capacitive touch screens are great, one flaw is the inability to use a stylus. Not anymore! Acase's Capacitive Stylus allows you to use your Apple iPad without ever touching the screen with your finger. Perfect for the ladies out there who have their nails done, or for those who don't want to take their gloves off during a cold day. The Capacitive Stylus is conveniently sized, and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant at a Great Price 20 May 2012

Don't look any further for a pen for your iPad; this is by far the best for your money. I have no problems with it whatsoever, it works with every app I use, whether for selection, keyboard, game play or drawing. Out of interest, it also works well on my Nokia E7 phone.

The tip blends smoothly with the metal collar, so there are no sharp edges to scratch your screen.

My only slight gripe is that the 'peg' for attaching the lanyard to the iPad headphone socket is extremely tight, and I'm concerned that frequent use might "stretch" the contacts inside and so affect the quality of headphone/speaker connection. This is no deal breaker though, since I'd rather keep the pen in my pocket.

Don't be tempted by more expensive pens, such as the MediaDevil Magicwand capacitive touch screen stylus (Matte Black edition) for Apple iPad / iPad 2 / iPad 3 / iPhone 4 / iPhone 4S / iPhone 3G / iPhone 3GS / Amazon Kindle Fire / Samsung Galaxy Tab / HP TouchPad / Motorola Xoom / BlackBerry PlayBook / Sa.... You are buying the exact same item with a different name on it. Even the box is the same with a different design on it. I have one, I know; I was gullible enough to think more expensive was better quality when I already owned a good product!

I thoroughly recommend the Acase Capacitive Stylus Pen - it's the best one I've used so far. No need to look any further, go for this one.

UPDATE: I have now been using this for 6 months and it's still as good as the day I bought it. An excellent buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stylish stylus 26 April 2012
I picked this up the other day to use with my new Samsung Galaxy Tab - I got sick of the greasy fingerprints on the touch screen (well, it was that or start eating my fish and chips with a knife & fork) and also found that my big fat finger tips made pointing & clicking a little inaccurate.

Looking through Amazon, it seems that there are quite a few other products that look almost identical, despite being listed as different products and even branded differently. There are also a few (more expensive (styli that don't appear, in essence, to be any different. I chose this one pretty much at random from the mid-price-range products, not wanting to pay more than I needed to but not wanting to be >too< cheap.

This stylus is about 4" long and is made of aluminium, finished in red. There is a sturdy pocket clip which I use to attach the pen to my Galaxy cover. There is a little lanyard loop on a metal mini-karabiner which attaches to an eyelet on the top of the stylus and the loop has, on the other end, a wee plastic "widget". I believe that this widget is used to attach the stylus to the headphone jack of the device to keep it from straying (thanks to a fellow reviewer for that tip). The business end is a soft rubber tip, smooth and squishy, which does the biz on the touch screen.

It is light, but not featherweight, and quite adequately balanced; overall, the feel of it is of decent quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good stylus - works well with Asus Transformer 10 Aug 2011
Happy with this purchase - the stylus looks nice (esp. with the red coloured case I bought) and works very well with ASUS Transformer. It was delivered quickly and with minimal but adequate packaging. The tip is soft and does the job - avoiding constant smudges on the screen. Good to play games etc. as the hand is not in the way of the screen.
Would've preferred if it was longer by an inch - more the size of normal pens. Also, this doesn't appear to be any high-technology - so perhaps the price can go down further in the future!

Overall well pleased with the Acase Stylus pen - highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well with Asus Eee Pad 6 Jun 2011
By KathyP
The Acase stylus is very good (beware of cheap imitations purporting to be Acase). I like to use it on the Eee pad as it helps to keep the screen clean and free of greasy fingermarks. Only downside is that the cord that attaches it to the headset jack is too short to actually use it whilst it is "plugged in", so is of limited use.

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless for note taking 2 Aug 2012

Don't bother with this if you intend to use it for writing. It's not nearly precise enough on my ipad3 nor does the contact register on the screen all the time. If you've experience writing with a Wacom enabled tablet and are looking for the same experience, you won't get it with this stylus. Others may be as bad but this is the first I tried.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stylus pen for the iPad and iPhone 4s 17 Jun 2012

This is a quality pen that I should have bought a long time ago. No pressure needed to complete most functions. I recommend this pen, much cheaper on the market but you do get what you pay for.
This also worked with my iPhone and othe touch screen products
