Product Description

While capacitive touch screens are great, one flaw is the inability to use a stylus. Not anymore! Acase's Capacitive Stylus allows you to use your Apple iPad without ever touching the screen with your finger. Perfect for the ladies out there who have their nails done, or for those who don't want to take their gloves off during a cold day. The Capacitive Stylus is conveniently sized, and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere.

This is an identical unbranded stylus to many others and it cost a couple of quid less!
The main reason I got this is that I purchased one of the free hand notes apps (noteshelf)and it is far easier to write with a stylus - using your finger is OK but I'm not ET.
I've since found I use it more and more when using other apps inparticular when working on excel spreadsheets.
clever how it clips into the headset jack so you don't lose it.
Finnaly it's a must for Angry Birds - more control of the catapult......

This cheap stylus does exactly what is is supposed to do. I use this on my Ipad in business meetings to draw a picture and show it via a VGA -cable to a data projector. This way I dont need a whiteboard anymore - and have the picture we designed already in a portable format. My kids love this too :)

Unlike other pens this one actually works with the fantastic Penultimate App for notetaking. I tried before a Proporta pen (its sticky tip does not glide over the screen at all) and a nameless pen from a big PC store chain which had a failure rate of some 40%. Unusable.
This one works fine, glides easily over the screen and I can write all kinds of notes without problem.

I don't understand why pretty much all of these pens are so short, this one measures approx. 109 mm. But for notetaking its ok, much better than using a finger. Apple' own iPad case has no room for a pen and it doesn't help that I can attach this pen with a clip/string into the headphone port. I could attach the pen with its clip to the outside of the iPad case but that is maybe a bit silly.

I bought this for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and it works well. Only two small niggles:
1. It is a little short for use as a 'pen' but my hands are small so it isn't a problem for... Read more

FIRST STYLUS PEN
I have not used one before so I have nothing to compare it with. It works but I prefer using my finger and put up with the screen cleaning.

Great to start with, but ends up sticky
This is my second Acase Stylus. I replaced the first one because I assumed it had developed a fault when it started really 'sticking' on the screen of my iPad2. Read more
