The water treatment technology of the AcalaQuell One has evolved from intense R&D in
combination with the principles of nature.
The multi-layered filtration results demonstrably in a very high water quality. The PI-
Technology, developed in Japan and Germany, gives back your water the qualities of a
natural spring.
Your drinking water goes through various stages. As there is no pressure on it, your
drinking water has time to develop like a fine wine.
* The Micro Sponge stops all dusts and rust and other floating particles as the size of
its pores are only 1 µm (1 millionth meter), smaller than the bacteria in the water. Only
pure water can pass through. Therefore the AcalaQuell filter cartridge stays free of rust
and dust and maintains full performance for the time of usage.
* During the second stage the water flows through the AcalaQuell One filter cartridge.
After purification with active carbon and silver active carbon, lime, nitrates and other
undesired substances get taken out or reduced by ionic exchange.
* The water continues to flow through bioceramic. Trace elements of calcium and magnesium
are put into the water. This also causes the p.H. to move slightly into an alcaline
range.
* Molecules and other tiny elements with positive charge get taken out by a layer of
zeolite. In this way the zeolite acts as an ultra-small molecular sieve and
catalyst.
* After this the water flows through quarz sand.
The result is an exceptionally good-tasting, soft and light spring water which is
enjoyable to drink!
