The salt mill particularly does drop a lot of grinds so was making quite a mess. This mill rest does the job of keeping all the mess in one place. It's quite light weight but looks like it should last and looks pretty good too.

I bought this for my salt and pepper mills in order to stop cleaning the salt and the pepper left on the table all the time which was messy. So it is tidy,clean and neat now and all you need to clean is the mill rest only.

Been looking for a mill rest for months. Can't believe these are so hard to find. Dont want salt and pepper spilling over the table. This does the trick perfectly although stained it to match the dining furniture.
