Synopsis

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley return to create more excessive substance and human abuse in another season of Absolutely Fabulous. The BBC series has become a perverse favorite all over the world as Edina and Patsy continue in their inspired comedic debauchery. This season features eight new episodes with guest appearances by stars Kristin Scott-Thomas, Elton John, Minnie Driver, and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Sweetie Darling 25 May 2004
Format:DVD
Well, the girls are back, and they are as fabulously nasty as ever.
This series sees poor Saffy pregnant to a Ugandan she met doing aid work in Africa.
Edina is delighted to have a mixed race grandchild as her latest must have accessory.
Patsy is jealous of the baby and tries to sell it, and failing that she gets it a modelling contract with Gaultier.
Gran is madder than ever and Bubbles doesn't seem to have aged at all since series one, first broadcast in November of 1992!
All the fans will buy this anyway, of course, but personally I think this series takes us back to the stylish form of the earlier series, after the rather dark and twisted days of series 4.
Enjoy it sweeties!

Much maligned in continuing on for series after series when "The Last Shout" claimed to call an end to proceedings. But series 5 is still well worth savouring, great performances, great cameos, banter and nonsense worth relishing-the highlight of the whole series though would have to be Jane Horrocks as Bubble in some inspired comic set-pieces. The best of the 8 episodes is "Book Clubbin'" with a great take-off of "Don't Look Now" and perfectly recaptures the hysterical spirit of classic ab fab!!

still great fun...but DVD won't play in my Blu Ray!!
Still a fun series after the break after the original 3 series. The Characters are brilliant and the one-liners are still sparkling... like a chilled glass of bolly. Read more

Fabulous Darling
I was surprised that after "The Last Shout" we were treated to another series of Ab-Fab, Edina has moved on a little, Saffy has a baby and it's all still Absolutely Fabulous! Read more

Not disappointed

Rubbish
Unfortunately this was a really dreadful series. I mean Saffy getting pregnant. It has had its day now and you can tell JS is running out of ideas. Read more

Good but showing it's age.
Don't get me wrong, I found this series funny...but not as funny as previous outings. I think it's true when people say that when a sitcom starts to change in ways of new... Read more

What happened???
Why must all good things these days inevitably turn to crap? Like many Ab Fab fans out there I was sorely disappointed by the latest (5th) series. Read more

Not the best but still fantastic
This isnt the best series of Ab Fab, but it does annoy me when people say that the first 3 series were the best. Read more

Absolutely Worn Out
The first 3 series of this genius comedy will surely go down in history as one of the most reliably funny sitcoms in England. What on earth then went wrong? Read more
