If you have learned the basic chords from the first two books of Absoulute Beginner Guitar you can just jump in straight away and start playing. Although these chords are readily availible to learn anywhere it also shows with each song what chords are needed.
Note you will be strumming along playing just the chords, you dont learn the solos, the backing tracks on the CD are good and clear.
This is excellent for someone who has started out with a few chords and been told to "go and find their path" this lets you play along and learn more about timing and changing chords quicker, of course this helps if you have heard the songs before.
