Book Description

23 Sep 2004 Tunnel of Light Trilogy
Single-minded Secret Service Agent Cameron Roberts has one mission-to guard the daughter of the President of the United States at all cost. Her duty is her life, and is the only thing that keeps her from self-destructing under the unbearable weight of her own deep personal tragedy. She hasn't counted on the fact that Blair Powell, the beautiful, willful First Daughter, will do anything in her power to escape the watchful eyes of her protectors, including seducing the agent in charge. Both women struggle with long-hidden secrets and dark passions as they are forced to confront their growing attraction amidst the escalating danger drawing ever closer to Blair. From the dark shadows of rough trade bars in Greenwich Village to the elite galleries of Soho, Cameron must balance duty with desire and, ultimately, she must chose between love and honor.

5.0 out of 5 stars The first in the "Honor" Trilogy 22 Dec 2003
Emotions run wild and romance rears its head as these two strong, beautiful women find themselves reluctantly drawn to each other.
Blair Powell is a lesbian, an artist, and the daughter of the US President. More than anything, she wants a "normal" life: Blair finds the security shield around her restrictive, and has a habit of thwarting the efforts of those assigned to protect her.
Enter Cameron Roberts. She is the new head of Blair's Secret Service detail, and an honorable professional. She is also determined to keep Blair safe...even against the first daughter's will.
Cam's attraction to Blair wars against her sense of duty, but the agent is dedicated to protecting her from a dangerous and resourceful stalker...a stalker whose game has become decidedly deadly.
You will fall in love with these women as they fall for each other. This is a smart, funny, tender, and romantic story.

This was the first of Radclyffe’s work that I read when she was unpublished and posting her works on the web. I loved it. It kept me up reading until three in the morning when I knew I had to get up for work at six. I just couldn’t put it down.
Rad writes believable characters that you come to care for and a romance story that you slowly see develop. You’ll be on the edge of your seat and unable to put the book down. I have never been so happy to see a sequel to a book and I now own all of Rad’s works!

5.0 out of 5 stars satisfied reader 10 July 2006
Radclyffe is an author of the finest order and as far as I am concerned be more famous than danielle steele!!

This is the first book in the 'Honour' series and certainly does a fantastic job of getting you hooked.

It's pacy and gripping but still manages to contain lots of angst and romance for all us sappy women/girls (even sappy men if they happen to exist! :) ) out there.

There's a good balance between the personal lives of the characters, their relationships as well as the good guy- bad guy thriller aspect.

A great read, just make sure you don't have anything important to do for a few hours (or days!) when you pick it up.

5.0 out of 5 stars above all, amazing 7 Feb 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Words don't seem to do enough justice, for almost ten years I have stopped reading, besides odd book here and there. This was the first book I read from Radclyffe and it reminded how a book you are passionate about can make you feel. The characters were great, the story was fluid and kept you going, it was hard not to think about the book and I was annoyed whenever I had to put it down. I was thrilled until the very last page and now I have to buy the rest of series.
