About the Author

She also writes for both British and American equestrian magazines.

For anyone who has not lunged before, this book will provide a good basic knowledge of what is involved, and what equipment you will need. The pictures are clear and relevant to the text. However, more experienced handlers will find the information too simple. The book does not really go into any detail about training the horse or even lungeing the rider.

I found this book was more about equipment to lunge and the options rather than all about lunging which I expected would cover everything from the equipment through to expert advise on working through all the paces and exercises on the lunge.
