Scott Barnes is truly the Glow Master and his new book is a treat. It combines well illustrated examples of a good variety of makeovers/face types/skin tones with inspirational words from some well known celebrities. There's also a small section on recommended tools and products. I've already read it twice and I'm sure I'll skim through it a good few more times. Not for the absolute beginner though.

I absolutely love this book, it inspires me in so many ways! I don't think it is for beginners though. The main downside for me is that Scott Barnes doesn't say what products he is using on the models. For example, he is able to transform woman of darker complexions using bright yellow concealer and me being a black woman, was like 'WOW" but I have no idea what brand it was, which is a bit upsetting.

I have always wondered how Jennifer Lopez has retained her famous youthful glow and this beautifully presented and comprehensive guide really shows you how.
The make-over's are incredible, who knew that make up could alter your bone structure to such a degree!
I've given the contouring technique a go myself and I have to say that it did give me the J.lo glow I was after.
This book shows you that, with make up, less is more and that it is the placement of it that really makes the difference.
Scott Barnes is a true Artist! If you like makeup artistry then you'll love this book.

Riveting reading & images, a must buy for anyone obsessed with make-up & its transforming qualities. I really enjoyed this book & Scott Barnes is a very talented make-up artist.

Not a book about makeup techniques
This book is not informative enough. Very boring picture. A few models. This is not good enough for beginners. This is not to say that it is good for advance makeup artist. Read more
