    1.0 out of 5 stars ouch!, 1 Mar 2009
By Bex (Essex, England) - See all my reviews
I bought this belt because it was cheap & I thought it would be a good starting point for using toner belts, as if this was any good I was going to invest in a more expensive, better one. However, all this belt has given me is electric shocks! I have covered the thing in the gel provided to stop these shocks but it doesn't work. The gel it comes with is a tiny tube & I've almost used this all up just trying to use enough to not get a shock. The buttons are also really slow to respond, so you could press it several times without a response, then suddenly it will go to full power.
I would advise you not to buy this.

    1.0 out of 5 stars A Waste of Money, 9 Mar 2009

I purchased the product because it was cheap. Yet after having already returned one because it did not seem to work, I am in the process of returning another and this time it will be to get a refund not a replacement. The buttons and LED did not seem to work and I had no luck with this product. It is not worth the hassle.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great start, very good value, but only a start. Or - relaxing and easy to wear at work, at lectures, on buses, in hotels..., 3 Dec 2008

I gave this five stars because of what it is, and it's not rated as one of the much better electrical pulse exercisers / massagers. It's not one of those, and few would compare it to those super-machines.

It's really good value. And it's a great start to using these. It's really relaxing also. And if you use one of these electrical pulse exercisers / massagers already, it's pretty relaxing for you also, not strenuous. (Few persons say that these things can be difficult to endure, though they can give good results, but they certainly can be difficult.)

Used on one part of the body, with a good value sauna belt on another part, and a vibra belt on another part, this gives a really good massage to your body, clears toxins, should excite you to do real exercise, and should allow you to exercise more easily. Try these and add an infra-red heat lamp on your head area as well at the same time (they cost less than 20 pounds). You can really perk yourself up with an hour or less a day, most days, within a few weeks.

This machine is not really enough to give much toning to you unless you do quite a good amount of exercise anyway, or or are slim or nearly slim and keep a strict diet. If you do exercise a good amount and regularly, this should help noticeably in helping lose pounds and toning a bit, on the high settings.

This is so handy to use. That's the main reasons why it gets 5 stars.

What makes this really cheap electrical pulse item great is its ease of use. It takes one of the tiny circular metal batteries, comes with one and another spare. It's so small, it can go in your trouser pocket easily, not being buly. There are no wires at all. If you store some batteries, you'll really appreciate this machine. You can use it anywhere. It can be really good to help keep you awake. Or wake you up over 30 minutes or so. If you use this device a few times a day, most days, just before lunch, while at a lecture, the 20 minutes on the bus, for 30 minutes as you're waking up, while you're making a long phone call, it will have a really noticeable effect.

The Abgymnic can really help your digestion and turnover of consumption and make your body much faster in this respect (used as much as I suggest - it's benefit is really in repeated, quite frequent use as it's not a strong machine). It should help you with exercise, making you much more ready to do this, even after a couple of weeks using it. It can make you happier, basically, and separately to the happiness that doing your own exercise is likely to bring about. It really is a very good stimulus. This device is not a really strong one, for getting tight abdominal muscles (those machines often cost over a hundred U.K. pounds, take a lot of getting used to, really A LOT, and can really hurt if they're going to do much good). But it is a great start - you have to start somewhere for those machines, and generally you should be doing at least a reasonable or noticeable amount of real exercise at the same time. You may lose weight without much hardship, but getting toned takes something pretty shocking, from you or a machine, ideally both.

This machine should help get you to reasonable exercise and also is an induction for the stronger machines. Don't rush it, but don't stop doing it. It won't take long to get to the higer settings on this machine, and don't stop using it for a long time after you've started exercising, especially if you've been inactive for a long time.

Used for relaxing massages, they should be of the type which are likely to make you fresher during the next day or days.

NOTE: If you are fit and active already, this belt will be appropriate for you for a more limited time, and you should move on to a better belt much more quickly.

You'll probably want to move on to the 4 unit in one Aggymnic within 5 weeks to 3 months (maybe longer if you've been inactive for long). That's really good value also, and you can keep the small one for using - one on your front, one on your back, at the same time, for example. Don't fall into comas in lectures anymore - put the situation into a good perspective!
