More About the Author

Christopher Menadue was born in Cornwall, studied at Cambridge and then left the UK immediately afterwards to seek fame and fortune. Neither were forthcoming so he came back six years later having lived in New York, Australia and Puerto Rico. He started writing for his own and his friends amusement when he was still at college and has been at it ever since. He now lives in Cairns, Australia with his wife and two dogs. He writes Speculative Fiction and non-fiction reference guides on photography, which is his other passion (publishing under 'Ben Menadue'). He is fond of spiders. Great follow up to Abduction from Christopher. Some deeper themes are present concerning the nature of alien life and how it might attempt to communicate with humans. However, a sure footed light touch in the writing keeps the smiles coming. The two main human protagonists are wittily brought to life with accurate portrayals of the vanities and insecurities of typical rock hounds. The alien characters are also nicely defined and there is a great twist to the story. Four and a half stars (rounded to five) because of some very minor technical inaccuracies which only a nerdy geologist would even notice......

This writer really has the ability to grab the reader and take them into the story. This is an incredibly rare thing among authors these days.

I think this book is also an absolute must buy for anyone who loves short stories, with drama, suspense, and adventure. I have now purchased all the titles and have read them more than once.

I chose this rating based on the fact that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this latest outing from Christopher, it was just as good as his previous Abduction, recommend this! Well worth a purchase.
