An interesting book, different of many others about ABBA. It's not the usual biography. It is the personal experience of a fan club with ABBA members, after the group disbanded, from 1984 to 1988. It's exactly as advertised : interviews, rare pictures you don't see anywhere else, with a nice atmosphere of intimacy.

I recently bought this book on the recomendation of some friends and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. Basically it covers the final releases of the supergroup and the reflects on the seperate paths their careers took in the 80's. there are some nice photographs and interesting interviews with the group members regarding their solo projects but, I did find it a little Frida focussed although, I feel this is probably as she was the most approachable member of the group, as far as their fans were concerned. There's information on the recording and promtional activities surrounding Benny and Bjorn's "Chess" musical collaboration with Tim Rice and, some insight into their work with Swedish brother and sister band, Gemini, who they wrote for. On the whole a good book which tries to do something different, written by a fan and aimed at the fans
