It took a lot of looking all over the world (via internet of course) to track down a couple of copies, and there was some sticker shock involved with the price. However, in the end I purchased one copy in good shape which I gave as a B-day gift to a huge fan of the series. Needless to say the gift was a winner and all the effort and $ were well worth it. This book is a shade longer than the first two in the series but it is arguably the best written of the three. The print quality and illustrations are awesome. I wish DeMatteis had been allowed to finish the story arc with book 4. But alas it seems that will never happen which is a shame. I'd buy book 4 even if it was just an ebook just so I could read how the story ends.

I would recommend that you read book 1 and 2 in the series before purchasing this one since it is so expensive due to the low number of copies that were printed. If you have read books one and two and enjoyed them then you will definitely enjoy this one... if you can find a good copy for a decent price :)
