I have been using this board for just over a year now as the heart of my gaming computer and up until a couple of weeks ago was more than happy with it.Just last week I brought a SATA6 SSD with a view to making it my boot drive, after having read the manual again looking to set up my drive I discovered that if you enable Sata6 then your graphics card slot goes from X16 to X8 making it slower, which for a gaming rig is a waste of time, same applies to USB3. enabling USB3 in the bios also changes the X16 PCI slot to x8, worst of all you cant have USB3 and SATA6 its either or, not both. So if your going to buy this board you need to decide what is more important to you, a X16PCI slot, USB3 or SATA6 you cant have them all.had I known about the limitation I may not have brought this board but thats my fault for not reading the small print. Apart from the limitations I have mentioned this is still a very good board.
Update:1-11-11 As an update to this review I thought that instead of buying another motherboard I would give the sata 6 a try and run my graphics card at X8 instead of X16, well after having run this way for over a month I can say that I haven't noticed much differance in perfomance of my graphics card but running my SSD at full speed means my computer now boots to Windows in less than a min. Also in the Windows performance index my storage has gone from 5.9 to 7.9 which is the max it can go.So I will be keeping this board as the basis of my PC for the forseeable future. I would give this board 4.5 out of 5 if I could but because of the limitations of sata 6 and usb3 i can't give it 5.
