Have had this running for some weeks now, 100% successful. Installed Windows 7 on it, everything was detected aside from the USB 3.0 which needed the driver.

Great overclocking ability.

This motherboard is ready for SATA-600 (not many drives available yet), and ready for USB 3.0, which should speed up the USB bottleneck.

A super motherboard and it looks amazing.

I bought this motherboard along with an Intel Core i5 - 760 processor, 4gb coursair memory, and ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card, i must say it is perfect for gaming. I can play Crysis at a good 35fps on the highest settings. GTA IV works perfectly smooth on high settings too.

I have been using this board for just over a year now as the heart of my gaming computer and up until a couple of weeks ago was more than happy with it.Just last week I brought a SATA6 SSD with a view to making it my boot drive, after having read the manual again looking to set up my drive I discovered that if you enable Sata6 then your graphics card slot goes from X16 to X8 making it slower, which for a gaming rig is a waste of time, same applies to USB3. enabling USB3 in the bios also changes the X16 PCI slot to x8, worst of all you cant have USB3 and SATA6 its either or, not both. So if your going to buy this board you need to decide what is more important to you, a X16PCI slot, USB3 or SATA6 you cant have them all.had I known about the limitation I may not have brought this board but thats my fault for not reading the small print. Apart from the limitations I have mentioned this is still a very good board.
Update:1-11-11 As an update to this review I thought that instead of buying another motherboard I would give the sata 6 a try and run my graphics card at X8 instead of X16, well after having run this way for over a month I can say that I haven't noticed much differance in perfomance of my graphics card but running my SSD at full speed means my computer now boots to Windows in less than a min. Also in the Windows performance index my storage has gone from 5.9 to 7.9 which is the max it can go.So I will be keeping this board as the basis of my PC for the forseeable future. I would give this board 4.5 out of 5 if I could but because of the limitations of sata 6 and usb3 i can't give it 5.

I bought this a year ago now, quite good mobo with lots of extras and it looks good inside you pc as well. shame that marvell controlls sata 3 in this mobo coz there is no way you will use SSD on this mobo as it limits speeds to 1x not like other using 3x. dont buy if you want to use SSD drive.

i bought an asus p7p55d motherboard and ive had soooooooooooooooooooooo many problems with it, where do i start, ive used 2 different memory modules from the asus qualified list and neither of them work, im awaiting a 3rd to be delivered.

try not to get excited with the mem ok function, its useless

the asus update software supplied with this board doesnt work

when i did get my board to post, 1 minute everything was fine, then all of a sudden, only half of my memory was available, ive contacted asus direct twice now using there chat function on there website, 2 weeks later i am still awaiting a reply.

abit of advice, i used to have a gigabyte board which was cheaper than this, and more reliable, i thought i was upgrading, no since moving to asus its a definate downgrade.

you have been warned, if you need after sales support by asus, forget it

buy any brand apart from asus because you could end up being seriously out of pocket, there unrelaible, if my 3rd set of memory fails, i will be returning the board, to be honest, ive already lost any confidence i had
