I bought this motherboard to build a PC for my son.
The motherboard arrived with the required leads, reasonable instructions (I had built PCs before so I haven't studied the details much)and well packaged. It was easy to insert the CPU and memory to the motherboard. The usual connectors are provided for hard disks and CD/DVD drives. After everything was installed it powered up for the first time (though you do need to check your power supply has the extra 4 pin lead needed, many I looked at didn't have this facility though they claim to be to the latest spec) and detected all the connected equipment. Windows 7 installed and configured itself appropriately for the motherboard. I haven't added any of the software provided as Windows 7 seems to have installed eveything that I needed and works well. I did notice that the software supplied will run on windows 7 (64 bit) which previous motherboards had struggled over. Express gate is available (which you can boot into very quickly) but I didn't use this on a previous ASUS motherboard as I generally want to do more than just browse the internet, though I suspect this is a later version and may prove useful if you want it. If you don't you can switch it off in the BIOS. The graphics is reasonable, certainly adequate for all except the most prolific gamer, but then if you are buying this motherboard you are considering price as well as performance. For the money I would struggle finding a better motherboard. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful
I bought this motherboard mainly as i needed it for my storage server, as it has 6 SATA connections. The motherboard is easy to install and comes with 2 SATA cables. Works great, easy to follow instructions. A fantastic buy!

Great motherboard with lots of tweaks available. However don't buy this product if you want the well publicised "Express Gate" feature. It doesn't work with Raid zero disc array. Also doesn't work with wireless router unless it is embeded into you system.
