Great Picture - A fiddle with Sky+HD though,
This review is from: ASUS BR-HD3 Wireless HDMI Kit - Wireless video/audio extender - external (Personal Computers)
I originally tried to buy this product from osoo.co.uk but it was delay and I decided to buy it from Amazon as the price was similar. Other places seem to want to sell them for 400 quid and they're definitely not worth that much.
Anyway. first you need a splitter for this to work with Sky+HD. It needs to be a HDCP compatible splitter. Once I had the connection working the picture is great but it's not without frequent juddering. I dropped the output on the Sky box to 720p to improve the performance which made quite a difference. It still judders though. I'm going to try and wall mount them to see if it stops it juddering!

The ASUS BR-HD3 provides very good transmission quality in terms of both video and sound. The performance is in a completely different league to the other readily available alternatives (A/V senders).
There are a few things potential buyers should be aware of: 1. If you are intending to use this to simultaneously send a picture to another room then you should note that it DOES NOT work with most HDMI splitters. I tried 4 different HDMI splitters before finding one from another Amazon seller (Neet) - but even then it was a discontinued splitter that the seller suggested I try as a last resort. 2. I've also been unable to get the IR sender working - but it may be because I've mixed up the blaster cable and the receiver! Once you take them out of the packaging it's hard/impossible to tell them apart! 3. The 3 LED's are ridiculously bright. I've resorted to putting some black tape over them. 4. I tried sending a 1080p signal from a PC (ATI graphics card with HDMI output) and was not able to receive a picture. Instead I got a warning message saying that the resolution was unsupported. I've given only four stars because of the issues listed above and also because of the sound and video limitations (16bit stereo sound and 1080i/720p).

Works perfectly for me. Has IR passthrough. I have it about 7m apart through 2 walls and it works fine. Would suggest it will work alot further as I dont even have them facing each other. Only slight downside is that there is a slight delay in teh video which means that if you are playing PS3/Xbox you get a very small delay from controller to action. Perfect for TV signals though.
