Product Description

Product Description

All the capacitors on this board are built with 100% all solid capacitors. With these solid caps, ASRock motherboards are allowed to perform more stably and ensure longer lifetime. Besides the two USB 3.0 ports on the rear I/O supported by the chipset, this motherboard also has an added chip to support an additional front USB 3.0 header for two more USB 3.0 ports. Compared to other competitors' 3 Power Phase design, ASRock uses 4 Power Phase design and sturdy components for delivering smoother power to the CPU, thus enhancing the motherboard's performance at lower temperatures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reliably Fast, Small and minimal. 9 Mar 2014

I just don't get it, there are people that insist that you must go for the dearest, biggest motherboard out there (like the ROG series) but i disagree this motherboard supports all of the haswell cpu's out there even the top 4770k is supported so why spend big money on a motherboard if your not an overclocker this board even supports XMP memory profiles. It does the job and is cheap and very fast at booting, trust me this is all you need.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow ! 3 Jan 2014

What isnt to like about this board for a budget build ?

Fired up first time and I got all my drivers etc direct from Asrocks website.

If it has the features you need go for it, it is an absolute bargain.

I coupled mine with an Intel Haswell Pentium CPU and I have another great PC for next to nothing.

1.0 out of 5 stars DON'T BUY THIS ITEM 11 Feb 2014

The 24 bit connector does not let you click your psu 24 pin cable in properly. Apparently this is a problem that other other people have had have with this motherboard. If you look at the newegg reviews many are saying the same there. You would really really have to force the 24 power pin in to the point where the motherboard nearly snaps to get this in and even then it still randomly comes out.
Sent this item straight back and you'll end up doing the same!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great budget mobo 21 Oct 2013

This is a good low priced motherboard, there were no problems that would bring it below a 5 star rating. It has click bios which is very user friendly, but sometimes you have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in for it to see it.

Im mostly using it for 3d rendering so I have an i5 with the HD 4600 graphics, and I tested it on some games like crysis 2 and it ran just fine.

I would consider buying again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy and small 2 Jun 2014

Only downside is there is no firewire but with the USB 3.0, that really isn't that much of a problem. Very easy installation.
1.0 out of 5 stars Timing was good.. Item was deficient. 30 May 2014

The motherboard showed up on schedule and held all the parts I needed it to; only problem is, it was dead. There was no power being sent through the motherboard when trying to power on.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works as expected. HTPC build 26 April 2014

Purchased for an HTPC and it works as intended.

It will not support DDR3 memory beyond 1400mhz.

This is a no frills motherboard but does what you need it to do.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy, cheap, and comes with a lot of features 16 April 2014

I would give this 5 stars but there were a few road bumps. Overall, a good purchase for the price.

Pros:
-Economical
-Easy to setup
-Lots of Features
-Practically worked out of the box

Cons:
-Weary about the support. Website says dealers get 1 year. Where does that leave the rest of us? Very foggy on the RMA/Warranty process. Hopefully, I will never have to use it.
-Some of the drivers were outdated on the CD they shipped; not really a con as it's best practice to download latest driver's from the web.

Overall, a good buy. Bought 4 of these and would probably buy again.
